Sarge is my daily driver and takes me everywhere I want to go. Its inefficient, loud, smelly, leaky, rough riding, and not all that pretty, but hasn't failed me yet. My '92 Chevy K1500 was stolen on Mother's Day (5.9.99) and I got the Jeep as a replacement. I have learned Jeeping can be addictive, with modifications and repairs now taking a lot of my time, but Jeeps are so simple and easy to work on, it really is fun.
Current Configuration: 1979 Jeep CJ7, 304, Edelbrock intake with Carter 4bbl, fenderwell headers, T18, D30F and D44R, TrueTrac LSD's front and rear, 33x12.50 BFG MT's, 4" lift w/SkyJackers, Con-Ferr shackles, tilt wheel, power steering, Olympic rock bumper (rear) with 2" receiver, custom tire carrier, Tuffy console, Tuffy rear security trunk, hood lock, Hi-Lift jack, custom front tow d-rings, custom radiator overflow tank, air horns.
Coming Attractions (or, "things I'd like to have someday"): new front seat belts, stereo, CB, Hi-Lift mount, Eugene stickers, new front bumper w/receiver and winch plate, winch, new wiring, recessed LED tail lights, j-can carrier, cage mods w/overhead electronics console, exhaust mods, wide track axles, quick mount hard top hardware, front and rear trail lighting, 2nd fire extingusher, new dash and gauges, tachometer, kill switch, on board air, and lots of other stuff I haven't considered.
OYR Rocker Panel Guards just installed...
